A cannabis educator can be a multitude of things.
They are part experts on the endocannabinoidome, part experts in bureaucracy, and require a whole lot of heart.
I don't just teach cannabis; I teach you how to better self-regulate through use of cannabinoids and application to the endocannabinoidome.
What's the Endocannabinoidome?
The "endocannabinoidome" refers to how the Endocannabinoid System (ECS) interacts with other bodily systems.
The ECS is your body's system to maintain homeostasis. It does this through release of endogenous cannabinoids, or cannabinoids produced by the body.
Cannabis, a plant co-evolved with humans and after which the ECS is named, is a rich source of phytocannabinoids. These are plan-produced cannabinoids that mimic your body's own neurochemicals.
Add in terpenes, essential oils with medicinal properties.
Add in flavonoids, which also can also be antioxidants.
Add in best accessibility practices.
Add in intention work and goal setting.
And that's a glimpse into some of the things I do.
Anxiety, depression, pain relief, inflammation, nausea - these are just a few of the many things cannabis helps. But be warned that not all strains do the same thing! What's needed for fibromyalgia, for example, isn't the same as what best treats PTSD. This is why cannabis education is vital to medical patients.
Everything I do considers the legal framework involved.
CBD (excluding medical grade) is now de-scheduled in Israel, and may be used as a part of the lesson.
Demonstration of use lessons are restricted to licensed clients only.
The cannabis in my clinic is obtained through my license as a medical patient.
Strain "matchmaking" is the term I use to mean finding the right type of cannabis for each individual. To do this, I take an inventory of the patient's medical history, listen to their personal needs with cannabis, and even ask their nose to get in on the game by smelling botanical terpenes!
Not every strain is right for every person. Let me teach you the ins-and-outs of finding what's right for you.
