Hi, I'm Sydney

From childhood, I recognized how deeply connected the mind and body were. I spent years arguing with doctors that my pain was real, and trying to explain to therapists that my mental condition was producing physical pain.

Today we have words for what I was experiencing: a precursor to developing the full-fledged autoimmune conditions that I have now. It stemmed from deep-seated trauma that talk therapy paired with standard medication simply couldn't access.

And that's why I do what I do.
Because I've been there, too.

I've been called many things in life. "Treatment Resistant" is the worst.

My research into medicinally accessing the subconscious began following a near-death experience. This had added severe PTSD and chronic pain to my growing list of conditions- which now included "treatment resistant" depression.

A friend suggested medical cannabis to manage my new symptoms. After re-educating myself using a harm-reduction model, for the first time in years, I went SSRI and benzo-free.

It's not that your doctor doesn't want to help you.
They just don't know enough about it.

Marijuana would go on to be one of the many therapies that proved that "treatment resistant" is more defined by bureaucracy than the brain.

I research because I'm a patient, too.

By my mid-30s, I'd been diagnosed with several trauma-related autoimmune conditions.

It was at that point that I began to apply my psychobiological and legal backgrounds to educate myself about cutting-edge therapies that target the space between mental and physical wellbeing.

These days, I'm able to live a fulfilling life through applied knowledge of cannabis as medicine, psychedelic therapy, vitamins, and medication.

I was about to give up.

Maybe you're there right now.
Reach out to me.
I promise that there are options.
